Aim and Scope
This journal publishes original and impactful research that advances knowledge across the Earth Sciences. We welcome studies that introduce innovative methods, reveal major discoveries, or provide new perspectives on the processes shaping the Earth system.
Our scope spans all areas of geoscience, including geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrology, oceanography, atmospheric sciences, and environmental geoscience. Interdisciplinary and integrative research addressing global and planetary-scale issues is particularly encouraged.
The journal will be launched as a quarterly publication, with plans to increase frequency as submission volume and quality grow.
We are committed to a fully open and transparent editorial and peer-review process, publishing reviewer reports and editorial correspondence alongside accepted articles to promote openness and accountability in scientific publishing.

Article Processing Charges (APCs)
To support open science, Vertex Geoscience waives all APCs for the first year following its launch. After this period, APCs may apply and will be announced in advance. Authors are encouraged to seek support from their institutions or funders. For questions, contact us at [email protected].
